Located on the campus of Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University, we serve twelve school districts in North Alabama. It would be impossible to list all of the professional development services we offer-but a few include: Teacher Mentoring, Alabama Quality Teaching Standards, National Board Certification, Differentiated Instruction, Book Studies and Engaging Boys in Reading.
The AAMU/UAH Regional Inservice Center also has a lending library. Administrators and teachers in our districts can check out books, videos and the latest DVD’s to enhance your onsite professional development. Housed in our facility are two state initiatives, Science in Motion and Technology in Motion. The AAMU/UAH Regional Inservice Center is here to serve YOU!!!! As a part of the Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University family we too believe that “Service is Sovereign”.
